Join us for some flipping good fun at the Littlehampton Charity pancake Olympics
Littlehampton is once again to host the sporting event of the year as the Charity Pancake Olympics returns to the High Street. The event, organised by Littlehampton Town Council and supported by the Fish Factory and Sainsbury’s Littlehampton will take place in the High Street on Saturday 10th February between 11-1pm. Join us and cheer on the 20 teams from local groups and organisations as they battle it out for the coveted Gold Frying Pan and £100 for their chosen charity.
Some of the charities that people are hoping to raise money for include Home Farm Trust, Elmcroft Care Home, Coastal West Sussex Mind, St Barnabas House, Safe in Sussex, The Littlehampton Foodbank, Arun Dolphins, Together for Tyler, The Littlehampton Mayor’s Charities, Chestnut Tree House and Clic Sargent.
The Chair of the Town Council’s Community Resources Committee, Cllr Ian Buckland said: “The Pancake Olympics is a real community event and it’s great to see so many teams registered. I want to encourage everyone to come along, show their support and have some flipping good fun.”
