We need your VOTE

The Town Council’s Screen on the Green returns to Littlehampton seafront on Saturday 19th August and we need your help to choose the movie!

More than 4,000 people came to ‘have the time of their life’ at last year’s screening of Dirty Dancing, but what about this year?

The options are: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang; Grease; Muppets Most Wanted; The Goonies or you can make your own suggestion (must not be rated above 12 due to licensing laws).

Will it be 80s classic Goonies, Childhood favourite Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, a second chance to see Grease or the ever popular Muppets Most Wanted? You decide!

Cast your vote via our online poll on the homepage, via our facebook page www.facebook.com/littlehamptontc by liking the picture of your favourite movie or commenting with your suggestion. You can always email us

This year there will be a larger screen with a super audio system to accommodate the growing attendance.

The Chair of the Community Resources Committee, Cllr Billy Blanchard-Cooper said: “I am delighted that Screen on the Green is back and we can give the public the opportunity to vote for the movie to be shown at this fabulous event. The options put forward were shortlisted from suggestions made last year so it really is the public driving this event which is fantastic. Please make sure you cast your vote by the 13th April.”

The film with the most votes will be revealed in the Summer edition of Progress. The event is free and tickets are not required.
